A classic American Pale ale, this recipe features the all new Fortnight hops.

The kit includes the following -

Grain Bill
4kg Joe White Traditional Pale
250g Joe White Crystal
250g Briess Victory (Biscuit)

Hop Additions
20g Amarillo – 60 minutes
20g Fortnight – 15 minutes
20g Fortnight – End

Other Additions
Whirlfloc Tablet – 5 minutes

Yeast
Safale US-05 American Ale

 

Recommended
Mash Temperature – 68°C
Mash Time – 60 minutes
Boil Time – 60 minutes
Batch Size – 22 Litres

    This Pale was my first All Grain and proved to be an amazing light malty profile with a medium mouthful and subtle fruity hop flavors.

    Side note: I used this as a base for a blood orange pale and it is going to be my go to summer beer
