Been buying Coopers kits for years but decided to have a look around for alternatives. Found Country Brewer and bought their Balter Recipe and after some fantastic support from their team (Graham) have produced a fantastic Balter equivalent. Excellent full hop flavour, a lovely drop. Have a go, you wont regret it!

This is a great extract home brew and a big step up in quality over my regular Cooper's Aus Pale. Faithful to the original style, and wonderfully full of hop flavour and aroma. It may not be Balter but it's a bloody good shot at it. My only variations to recipe were 600g Light Dry Malt with 500g Dextrose instead of the Brew Booster, and 20g of each hop not 12g.

At first I was hesitant in trying the brew, very skeptical I could mirror the excellence that is Balter.
Fantastic Recipe, slightly less hops than the original but everyone who has tried believes this is the better taste.
Highly recommend!
