The Wetpak Classic Oak Ale, is a beer designed with the classic old English style of brewing and aging in oak barrels in mind. The finished beer is smooth on the palate, not too bitter with a honey aroma coming through on the nose. The oak imparts a slight vanilla overtone to the final flavour.

The Classic Oak kit comes with:
*** Note: Upon opening the can, you may see what looks like candied sugar or a green crust. Don't panic, it's just the fresh hops within the can that have come to the surface of the malt. They're supposed to be there! ***

This beer blew my mind. Took about 4-5 months to age to absolute perfection inside the keezer. Highly recommend you get one down and just let it sit and mature. Absolutely amazing flavours a real pleasure to drink.

Brewed this with 1 kg bodybrew and 500g rice malt syrup , was awesome if a little strong on the alcohol taste , although it was maltier than I usually like it was probably my favourite brew that I've ever made , kegged well , tight , persistent, creamy head and strong . Sadly it was too good to share .
