The Xtract German Lager is exactly what its name suggests. A classic all malt German style Lager, full bodied, light amber coloured with crisp hoppy flavours. Just the right balance of maltiness and bitterness to make a truly refreshing beer.

Fresh hops added to the concentrate give an added hop "punch" to the Xtract Range of beers.

Tips:  

• This concentrate is supplied with Fermentis' Saflager S-23 so brew this one between 9°C to 22°C (optimal range is 12°C to 15°C).
  

*** Note: Upon opening the can, you may see what looks like candied sugar or a green crust. Don't panic, it's just the fresh hops within the can that have come to the surface of the malt. They're supposed to be there! ***
